Thri-kreen Hunter

Thri-kreen are humanoid mantises which live in the desert. They are obsessed with tikchak (the hunt mind) and tokchak (the pack mind). They tend to have little understanding of humanoid culture.

Thri-kreen Tactics

Most thri-kreen are hunters and not particularly interested in the flesh of sentients, as long as other kinds of meat are available.

Thri-kreen will attempt to ambush prey, striking from one or two sides. They will often concentrate forces in only one area, believing the enemy cannot concentrate their own forces as quickly and trusting to their dodging abilities to avoid ranged fire.

The entire pack never travels together, making it nearly impossible to wipe one out. Survivors can expect reprisals, which may come many (kreen) generations later.
