Strongheart rides a horse named Destrier or sometimes a Bronze Dragon.

About[]

As the leading hero of the LJN toyline and related media/merch, Strongheart is one of the most recognizable characters in the line, after Warduke and possibly Kelek.

The Shady Dragon Inn[]

The Dungeons & Dragons accessory, The Shady Dragon Inn, provides a number of details on Strongheart and other characters in the D&D and AD&D toy lines.

Originally a close friend of Warduke, the two became mortal enemies when Warduke was exposed to a magical item called the Heartstone, which brought Warduke's cruel nature to the fore.

Sword vs Magic Hammer[]

In all of the LJN media and merchandise, Strongheart is seen with a sword. But in the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon episode Servant of Evil, Strongheart has a Magic Hammer.

The leading theory for the reason for the change from sword to Hammer is probably over concerns related to violence on children's TV. Dungeons & Dragons had the parents groups in an uproar.

In the video game Idle Champions, the magic weapon was given a name, HEART OF GOLD HAMMER.
