All of the following are class features of the Spellbender.
Spellcasting: At each level, Spellbender gain new spells per day, an increase in caster level and spells known, if applicable as if she had also gained a level in whatever spellcasting class he belonged to before she added the prestige class. She do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If a she had more than one spellcasting class before she became a Spellbender, she must decide to which class she adds each level of Spellbender for the purpose of determining spells per day.
Spell Power: This ability increases the Spellbender’s effective caster level by 1 at each spellbender level. (To a maximum of +5CL at lvl 5)
For purposes of determining level-dependent spell variables such as damage dice, duration or range only. This does not grant new spells per day and spells known.
Tenacious Magic: You tweak and bend your spells in such a way, that they resist dispelling attempts. When someone makes a dispel check to dispel one of your spells (including using dispel magic to counterspell a spell you are casting), the DC is 15 + your caster level.
Mastered Spell: You chose a single spell of up to 8th level you know, after years of extensive analysis, you learning all its quirks, limitations and esence of this spell so much, that it became a spell-like ability to you. It no longer requires Verbal, Somatic, Material, Focus or XP components to use. You can use it at will (DC and CL are as if you cast this spell normally). This bonuses still apply if you choose to cast this spell normally.
