• This book was later adapted as the DVD bonus feature, Kelek's Crystal, an interactive adventure on disc 5 of the 2006 BCI DVD set.
• The game book portion of the book is not unlike the Choose Your Own Adventure books from Bantam Books then and Chooseco now. It is unknown if Bantam saw the use of the words "Choose Your Own Adventure" on the cover of the UK sticker book and whether or not they sued over the trademark infringement.
• The sticker book portion of the book is not unlike Colorforms. Various stickers could be place on 4 pages of scenery.
• An actual Colorforms D&D set was released in 1983 featuring the characters of the LJN toy line.

Story

The evil sorcerer Kelek has stolen a magical power that keeps the world of Dungeons and Dragons separate from the real world. Evil creatures from the D&D world will invade and destroy the real world, unless you can find three pieces of a magical crystal. Along the way you will have to face the evil wizard Venger and the mighty dragon Tiamat, as well as other minions.
