Mercion is a character created for the 1983 LJN toyline.
Mercion appeared in several of the coloring books from Marvel Books, and appears in a lot of the other related media/merchandise.
In recent media and merchandise, Mercion is a member of the heroes group, Valor's Call, with Strongheart, Ringlerun, Elkhorn and Molliver.
LJN Bio[]
Mercion, Good Cleric: Clerics are the most holy of all people. They use their knowledge to help the sick and wounded. Their holy powers also allow them to better fight the more magical evil beings in the world. Armed with a mace or hammer and their daily prayers, they are able to adventure and fight on the side of Law and Order.
The Shady Dragon Inn Bio[]
MERCION Good Cleric Female stands 5'11" and weighs 124 lbs. The cleric has blond hair and dark eyes, wears plate mail, and carries a mace shaped like a knob-ended staff. MERCION, RAVEN Cleric, and ZARGASH Cleric were members of a party who found the Heartstone, a magical gem that brings out hidden things about a person. The Heartstone brought out even more of MERCION's good, but uncovered the evil in the others. Since then, both ZARGASH and RAVEN have been MERCION's enemies, seeking every chance to destroy their former friend.
Attack of the Assassins[]
Mercion is absolutely one of the heroes, but the Attack of the Assassins book and record set from Kid Stuff has her kidnapped by Zarak, turning her into a damsel to be rescued by Strongheart.
Wild Beyond the Witchlight Bio[]
Mercion strikes the balance of a natural leader and a protective caregiver. She has a direct manner that reassures and inspires those around her. Mercion does not worship a deity, but rather an ideal: that truth gives life to artistry and beauty, and that those who embrace deceit should be censured and punished. Light is her domain.

COMBAT NOTES: Mercion counts on her armor to protect her as she administers healing. She uses Radiant Fire against groups of foes when there's no chance of harming allies or innocent lives, otherwise resorting to hold person spells and Divine Radiance attacks.
