Card Text[]

Whenever Mastermind Plum attacks, exile up to one target card from a graveyard. If an artifact card was exiled this way, create a Treasure token. (It's an artifact with "(Tap), Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color.")

Whenever you cast a spell, if mana from a Treasure was spent to cast it, you draw a card and you lose 1 life.

Origins[]

Mastermind Plum is based on Professor Plum in the classic Clue/Cluedo board game.

The look of Mastermind Plum is based on the 2023 redesign of the character. This version of the character can be seen in the 2023 edition of the regular board game, the 2023 version of Clue Grab & Go! travel version of Clue/Cluedo, the 2023 Clue/Cluedo video game available on Steam and other platforms, as well as several of the Clue Escape board games.

2023 Professor Plum Bio[]

A professor of antiquities with an uncanny perceptive eye. his incredible attention to detail aids him identifying counterfeits, and occasionally creating them. Only Black knows about his most convincing forgery: Plum's PhD, which hangs proudly above the desk. With the right incentive, the professor could likely fabricate anything--even a land deed proving Black has claim to the park he plans to build his hotel on.
