Story[]
The forces of good and evil fight over the magical item, the Wand of Wonder.
- pages 1-4 - introduce main characters
- pages 5-9 - Evil characters ambush the mysterious messenger and steal a package containing the Wand of Wonder.
- pages 10-15 - Filaree's falcon Fleetwing steals the wand and takes it to her. She tries to get away but is captured by Helayne.
- pages 16-23 - The heroes mount a rescue, fight a snake monster, and then find Filaree and the villains.
- pages 24-28 - The villains gloat about, and try out the wand.
- pages 29-32 - The heroes and villains fight.
- pages 33-36 - Druid Filaree shakes off the spell immobilizing her and calls on animals to help the heroes.
- pages 37-40 - Zarak and Foxfingers recapture Filaree, but Figgen helps the druid turn the tables on them.
- pages 41-46 - Mercion and Helayne do battle. The animals help and the villains are routed. The heroes take a rest together on a log.
