Glider
Medium vehicle
HP 100
AC 5; Fortitude 5, Reflex 5
Speed fly 8
Driver
A glider's rider must be in it for it to transport the driver. If the driver is either stunned, unconscious, immobilized, or dead, the glider is out of control.
Load
One medium creature, 50 pounds of gear.
Out of control
An out-of-control glider is usually out of control when the driver is unconscious. An out-of-control Glider acts exactly in the same way as a normal glider, but the driver has no control of where the wind takes him or her. Damage for landing awkwardly while unconscious, etc. is determined by the DM. Note that if landing in a lava pit, you will probably die, and if you land on grass, you shouldn't take damage unless you are going really fast.
Drag
For every 8 squares of movement, the glider drops 1 square in altitude.
  • with +2 wind speed: for every 16 squares of movement, glider drops 1 square in altitude.
  • with +4 wind speed: for every 32 squares of movement, glider drops 1 square in altitude.
  • with -2 wind speed: for every 8 squares of movement, glider drops 2 squares in altitude.
  • with -4 wind speed: for every 8 squares of movement, glider drops 4 squares in altitude.
Wind
At the DM's Discretion, a glider can take a penalty or bonus to its speed of -4 to +4, depending on the strength and direction of the wind – this is called wind speed bonus. In addition, the Glider drops half as many squares per +2 bonus to speed, or drops twice as many squares for every -2 to speed.

For instance, a +4 wind speed = dropping only one square down for every 32 forward, instead of only eight forward.

Dodging Flier
The glider uses its reflex modifier in place of its armor class, and gains a bonus to reflex equal to 5+rider's reflex modifier.
Air targeting
When making an attack against AC or Reflex against a rider of a glider, enemies must target the glider's AC or Reflex instead of the Rider's AC or Reflex.
Fragile Flying
For every 20 damage the Glider takes, its speed is reduced by 2 squares. At fly speed 0, the glider is unable to travel, and it is wingless.
Wingless
A wingless glider stops at the beginning of its turn, and immediately starts to fall. The glider cannot do anything but fall; if a safety feature is installed, now is the time to use it. A glider falling from a height of more than 100 squares does not impact the ground until the end of its second turn, granting the driver a second turn to press the safety feature
Safety Feature (optional)
When falling, it takes a minor action to activate the safety feature. If you do, it deploys a parachute, and you glide gently back to earth. The rest of the glider smashes into the ground and is utterly ruined (no save).
