The Formidable Fighter first appeared in the artwork on the cover of the classic Dungeons & Dragons Red Box set.
In 2022-2023 Super7 started making their 5-points of articulation (5POA) ReAction action figures based on classic D&D book cover characters/creatures. Formidable Fighter was the second wave, and also appeared in the 3rd and 4th wave.
In 2024, Formidable Fighter was included the the USPS stamp series and the WizKids Icons of the Realms 50th Anniversary miniatures set.
