Figgen, Good Halfling Thief, is a character in the media/merch related to the LJN toyline.
About[]
Figgen is a character created for the 1983 LJN toyline and related media/merch. Though Figgen didn't get an action figure.
Character Class[]
Because thieves are not seen as likable, some of the media/merch lists Figgen as having different classes. Quest for the Heartstone lists him as a Lawful Sherriff, while The Shady Dragon Inn just lists him as a Halfling, s if that were a character class instead of being a race. Going in the complete opposite direction, the Kid Stuff book and record set, Black Dragon Bog, shows Figgen's thievery in full effect, as he steals from a gruff, but innocent, woodsman. The Characters Coloring Book hits the right tone with Figgen pick-pocketing Warduke and picking a lock.
The Shady Dragon Inn Bio[]
FIGGEN Halfling has dark blond hair and deep brown eyes that always seem to declare his innocence. FIGGEN wears a hooded dark green cloak and carries a 50' rope coiled at his belt. He owns a magical dagger that he keeps in a jewelled scabbard at his right hip. FIGGEN's small money pouch seems always full because he is, as he puts it, "an expert at finding lost articles—you just have to know where to look!" FIGGEN's cloak is elven and magical, allowing him to hide easily if he does not move. His dagger glows with a blue light when friends are near, and takes on an angry red glow when enemies are within 20 feet.
