Bond of the Locust [Type::Symbiotic] [[Summary::You have developed a symbiotic bond with the hordes of ravenous locust that cloud around you and grip to your infested body, pinching your skin and waiting for access to the next plant to devour, and you have started to take their traits for yourself, until you yourself can be described as a plague.]] Prerequisites: [[Prerequisite::Aspect of the Vermin class feature]], [[Prerequisite::Aspect of the Locust.]]Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the locust feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.
3: Plagues of locust are well known for their ability to destroy entire crops in not even a day as they pour through the country-side, devouring everything as they go. You have begun to take on this trait, this unrelenting appetite, and have learned to attack with your mouth even more proficiently, weakening your foe as you bite into their vulnerable points. The bite attack you gained from the aspect of the locust feat now inflicts 2 points of strength damage with each successful bite.
7: Locust are an unstoppable breed of pests, that will hold on for dear life as they feed endlessly, and than are unsettlingly strong. You have taken on this trait for yourself, and are now stronger than your appearance would let on. You gain a +2 untyped bonus to your strength score. This bonus stacks with all other bonuses to your strength score that you may possess.
11: Plagues of locust are terrible sights, as they can move blindingly fast, and devour entire country-sides of crops in a single week, leaving behind long strips of barren fields in their wake. You have taken on this speed for yourself, making any flight speed you possess increase by 30 feet.
15: The exoskeleton of the locust is strangely stylized and made up of many different plates, giving it almost the appearance of armor. Your own exoskeleton has begun to take on this trait, and now it actually is somewhat similar to armor. You can now enchant your exoskeleton as though it were armor. Any enchantment you have placed on your exoskeleton, however, costs 1.5 times as much as it normally would.
Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
