Bond of the Ant [Type::Symbiotic, Type::Item Creation] Summary::You have begun to immulate even more traits of the ants that spill over you, as they form their intricate colonies on almost every inch of your body. Prerequisites: [[Prerequisite::Aspect of the Vermin class feature]], [[Prerequisite::Aspect of the Ant.]]Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the ant feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.
3: The ant is the most naturally efficient insect in the world, and can kill creatures millions of times their own size, or construct things even larger, should they work together towards such a goal. You have started to grow akin to the ant in your efficiency as well, granting you a bonus to craft checks equal to one half your hivemaster level. Also, when you craft something, it takes you much less time than usual to create it. You can make one craft check a day, using the rules as though it had been for the entire week, allowing you to do the work of 7 weeks in a single week, making one check a day.
7: Ants are are such dominant creatures in the insect world, that other insects, namely certain breeds of mantis and spiders, actually immitate them and their appearance, simply to avoid harm. This is because these ants work off of each other in combat, and so, in turn, you have learned to not rely on yourself alone for prowess in combat, and to strengthen your 'friends'. Your Swarm attack now deals 2 extra points of damage per hivemaster level (So, a level 9 hivemaster's swarm would deal 9d6+18 damage).
11: One trait that all ants share, no matter what distant breed they belong to, is their vicious mandibles. So, as a result, your jaw has warped and reconstructed itself, granting you a bite attack which deals damage according to the table below. If you have a bite attack, increase the damage of the bite by one size category. Also, you lose the ability to speak, but gain the telepathy ability, with a range of 50 miles. You may only speak to a creature that shares a known language with you when using this telepathy.
15: Ants are the masters of creation, and are able to construct virtually anything they set about attempting to. Select any four item creation feats. You are treated as having these four feats, a caster level equal to your hivemaster level, and access to all spells/powers, for the intent of crafting items. Also, you can craft any item in a single day, assuming that you make a craft check, beat the usual DC associated with crafting that item, and spend the entire day doing nothing but working on that item. When you craft an item that requires you to spend XP, reduce the total XP cost to be one quarter of what it originally was (So, you would only have to spend 1/100 of an items base price, in XP).
Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
