Adept of Four[]
The Adept of Four focuses on training in the martial disciplines exclusively. Upon beginning her walk down this path, a pupil chooses four of the nine disciplines of martial study, and focuses entirely upon the perfection of them.
Becoming an Adept of Four[]
To the Adept of Four, the only skills that are of any importance are those that directly aid in the study of martial maneuvers. As such these are the only class skills an Adept receives. The majority of Adepts of Four aspire to some day become Masters of Nine

Class Features[]
All of the following are class features of the Adept of Four.
Martial Prestige Class: Adept of Four levels count as full martial adept levels in determining the highest level maneuver that can be learned as a "non-Adept of Four" martial adept class.
First Steps into Four: Upon becoming an Adept of Four, the player must choose four of the nine martial disciplines. These are her chosen areas of study and they are the only ones she is capable of progressing in as an Adept of Four. Upon choice of these Four disciplines, she may choose one maneuver from each discipline she chooses and add it to her known maneuvers. An Adept of Four must meet a maneuver's prerequisites to learn it.
Stance Clarity: At levels 3, 6, 9, and 10 an Adept of Four selects a martial discipline. While in a stance native to that martial discipline she gains innate bonuses:
Clear Mind - The Adept of Four has an innate understanding of the world and feels at peace while in her chosen stances. As such she takes a +2 bonus to Willpower saves while in this state.
Clear Senses - The Adept of Four feels a natural attunement with her surrounding while in her chosen stances. Because of this she senses danger with increased awareness and receives a +2 bonus to reflex saves while in this state.
Clear Body - The Adept of Four draws power from the very air while in her chosen stances, and receives a +2 bonus to fortitude saves and a +1 bonus to AC when in them.
Empowered Strike - The Adept of Four draws immense energy from her native stances and can deliver aligned strikes based on her choice of discipline that deal an extra 2d6 damage, in lieu of using a maneuver for an attack.
Quick to Act: At levels 4 and 8 the Adept of Four receives a bonus to initiative (+1 and +2 respectively).
